A few days ago, the main school received a phone call from a lady, Muriel, to compliment the actions of 4 of our students who, whilst on the bus on the way home, witnessed an elderly gentleman, 'Mr. Tom', fall off of the bus. They rushed to his side, called an ambulance, and refused to leave until he was safe.

Once 'Mr. Tom' was in the ambulance, they followed the ambulance to check on his status where they met 'Mr. Tom's' neighbour, Muriel. 'Mr Tom' was so thankful of the actions of the 4 boys that he personally bought them a gift voucher and asked Muriel to deliver these to the school and present them to our students. Muriel said 'I was so impressed with their behaviour. It really has restored my faith in young people who are all too often criticised.' The boys presented Muriel with a bouquet of flowers and asked her to deliver this to her neighbour with their very best wishes. All at The Howard School wish 'Mr. Tom' a very speedy and full recovery. What a way to end the term!
